The chemical substance of original Pyrovatex CP was formulated and introduced by Ciba ( now a part of Huntsman) as early as the 1960s, and the product is amongst the most health- and environmental friendly chemicals for flame retardation. Research from several universities in the USA and Germany show no signs of toxic or environmental damaging properties in original Pyrovatex CP. The product has also been tested directly on the skin without showing any skin aggravation or allergy reactions.
